Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai has called on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday morning.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Koirala and Ambassador Wu discussed on making President Ram Baran Yadav’s six-day official China visit productive to be started from Thursday, said a statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office. Leading an eighteen-member delegation, President Yadav is heading to Hainan Province of China to attend the Boao Forum for Asia 2015 at 12:30 pm on Thursday. President Dr Yadav will be visiting China till March 1.
During the visit, President will address the Boao Conference on March 28. He is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
This would be the first meeting of President Yadav with the Chinese President after Yadav assumed his office in July 23, 2008.
