Deuba appoints Acharya as Economic Adviser



Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 11 September 2017) – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed Gyan Chandra Archarya as his economic adviser.

Archarya  is the former Under-Secretary- General of the United Nation and Former Foreign Secretary.

A cabinet meeting on Moday appointed him. Archarya will draw salary and avail services in par with Ministers.

Acharya has long experiences in the diplomatic services in Nepal.

He has also served as the Secretary General of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries held in Vienna, Austria.
