Foreign Minister Thapa in China on six-day official visit



timthumb.phpNepal Foreign Affairs (Kathmandu, Dec 24)–Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa, who is also the in-charge of foreign affairs, has reached Beijing for a six-day official visit to China on Thursday.

This is the first high level visit from Nepal government to China since Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli elected as the prime minister on Oct 11.

According to the foreign ministry, the minister is paying an official visit of the China at the invitation of the Chinese Government from 24-29.

The Nepalese high-level delegation led by Foreign Minister Thapa will hold bilateral official talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Dec 25.

The minister is also scheduled to hold talks with top leaders of China during his visit, the ministry said in a press statement.
