Ambassador Adhikari and Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Assistant to the Prime Minister talk about bilateral ties



KATHMANDU- Nepali Ambassador to Pakistan Tapas Adhikari and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s foreign affairs assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi met at his office in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting between Ambassador Adhikari and Fatemi, bilateral relations between Nepal and Pakistan and its historical development were discussed.

According to the ambassador official, SAARC issues were also discussed during the meeting. “During the meeting, regional cooperation in the South Asia region and how to advance the South Asian Cooperation Organization (SAARC) were also discussed,” the ambassador official told Unlaikhbar about the meeting, “Fatemi also expressed his regret that the SAARC conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad was stopped at the last minute.”
