Ambassador Luintel presents credential in Monaco



luintelKATHMANDU, Oct. 12 (Nepal Foreign Affairs)—Nepali Ambassador to France Ambika Devi Luintel, who is also concurrently accredited to Monaco, has presented her credentials to Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco at the Monaco Palace amidst a special ceremony recently.

On the occasion, Ambassador Luintel extended Greetings from President Bidya Devi Bhandari and the people of Nepal to HSH Prince for his good health, happiness along with the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Monaco, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Paris.

After the Credential Presentation Ceremony, the HSH Prince held a separate bilateral meeting with the ambassador. On the occasion, the ambassador expressed sincere thanks to HSH Prince and people of Monaco for their support to the victims of earthquake in Nepal which occurred last year and also appreciated the support received from Monaco for the socio-economic development of Nepal in some part of Nepal. She also mentioned about the possibility of engaging in more economic activities for the mutual benefit of both countries.

In the afternoon, Ambassador Luintel attended luncheon hosted by H.E Gilles Tonelli, Foreign Minister of Monaco in honor of Ambassadors from Nepal, Mexico and Romania.

During her stay in Monaco, she also visited the Honorary Consulate of Nepal. Honorary Consul of Nepal in Monaco, Alexandre Moghadum briefed her on the various matters relating to Nepal Monaco relation.  Nancy Dotta, President of NAMASTE, Monaco also called on the ambassador at the Hotel.  On the occasion, they discussed matters relating to socio- economic development of Nepal.
