China and US express grief over Pokhara plane crash



KATHMANDU- People’s Republic of China and the United States of America have expressed grief over the fatal plane crash that took place in Pokhara today.

A Yeti Airlines plane that flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara met with an accident before landing in Pokhara this morning. The plane was carrying 68 passengers including four crew members.

The US Embassy in Kathmandu, through its official social media account, noted that it was extremely saddened by the tragic accident and extended condolences to the members of the bereaved family. Likewise, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song tweeted saying that he was very shocked by the incident of plane crash and expressed solidarity with the Nepali people at this time of sorrow.
