‘China wants to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation under Belt and Road’

Kathmandu, June 9 (Nepal Foreign Affairs)–Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has sent a congratulatory message to Krishna Bahadur Mahara on the assumption of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal.

In his Message, Foreign Minister Wang expressed happiness over the progresses made by both sides in the recent times on various aspects of Nepal-China relations, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Wang has also expressed his desire to further expand mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in diverse fields under the framework of the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong handed over the message to Minister Mahara at the latter’s office on Thursday.
