DPM Thapa to hold bilateral meeting with Indian Foreign Minister



imagesNepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 10 June) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapais leaving for New Delhi, India today to attend and preside over the Convocation Ceremony of the South Asian University on 11 June, 2016. He will be on visit to India from 10 June to 12 June, 2016.

According to the press release issued by the Ministry today, Thapa will hold a bilateral meeting with Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of India and is expected to have meetings with other political leaders of the Government of India and discuss matters of mutual interest and current Nepal-India relations.

He is also addressing a gathering at the Observer Research Foundation at the Press Club of India. Accompanying delegation shall include Mani Prasad Bhattarai, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other officials of the Ministry. He will return to Kathmandu on 12 June, 2016.
