KATHMANDU- Newly appointed European Union (EU) ambassador to Nepal, Veronique Lorenzo has said the EU would continue its support for Nepal’s development including in the enforcement of the Constitution and the federal governance system.
Talking to media here today, the envoy also expressed her commitments to assisting Nepal to achieving prosperity, ensuring continuity of its assistances to Nepal in the areas of quality education, climate change, sustainable development, and promotion of energy sector, improvement of the human rights and for building an equitable society.
Recalling the decision of the EU, in the capacity of Nepal’s significant development partner, to provide Nepal 300 billion Euros till 2026 under the five-year plan, the ambassador hoped for wider cooperation and collaborations from all sides to achieve the programme targets.
