IDCPC donates $200,000 in cash to Nepal’s disaster relief fund

KATHMANDU – The International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) has donated US$200,000 in cash assistance to Nepal’s disaster relief efforts.

According to sources, the donation is believed to be the largest cash contribution made through party-to-party channels to Nepal.

An IDCPC official said, “We hope it can make a modest contribution to Nepal’s disaster relief efforts.”

The official further said that the funds would be handed over by the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal to Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
