KATHMANDU- India has won the third South Asian Yoga Sports Championship title.
With 6 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals, India came out first in the regional tournament. Host Nepal came second with 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals in the competition held today at the Nepal-India Friendship Dharmashala in Tilganga, Kathmandu.
Similarly, Bangladesh won 1 gold and 3 silver to finish in the third place. Similarly, in the second Mount Everest Yoga Festival competition, India won 11 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals to come first.
Saudi Arabia won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals while host Nepal won 4 bronze and 5 silver medals to come second and third respectively. Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia among other countries participated in the competition held from June 8.
