KATHMANDU – Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar paid a courtesy call on CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Thursday.
Issues relating to bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting, according to chief of UML foreign department, Rajan Bhattarai. Chairman Oli reminded that Nepal has close ties with India.
He also requested India for its assistance in Nepal’s economic development. “As we are close friends, problems surfacing between the two countries could be resolved via dialogue,” Chairman Oli said during the meeting. It was shared by leader Bhattarai.
