India’s move undermined Nepal’s sovereignty – NCP

Nepal Foreign Affairs (10 May 2020) – The ruling Nepal Communist Party  issued a strong-worded statement against the India’s contruction of link road to Mansarovar through Nepali territory on Satudurday evening.

In a statement signed by the Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Executive Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the NCP said that its attention was drawn to the road construction.

The party said that India’s latest move has undermined Nepal’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“The NCP believes in good neighborly relations between Nepal and India based on the principles of sovereign equality, territorial integrity, mutual respect and benefit,” said the party.
