Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 11 July 2019) – An international conference of Asian farmers will be organised in Nepal on August 11 on the occasion of International Youth Day.
To be organised by the 4-H Nepal, the conference aims to attract youths towards agriculture, it has been said. The three days conference will see participation of more than 125 farmers and entrepreneurs, said coordinator of 4-H Nepal, Lokraj Awasthi.
Top ten farmers and agro businessmen of Nepal would be awarded on the occasion. Working papers on different six topics as well will be presented as well. Likewise, an open discussion will be held on the issues– use of new technology in agriculture, quality production and marketisation of agro products and agriculture policy. Different programmes including agro yoga and agro therapy would be organised as well, said Awasthi.
