KC Wins Diplomatic Cup Tennis

Col. Sagar Bahadur KC, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh, has won the Champion’s Title Trophy in Men’s Singles in the Diplomat Cup Tennis Tournament 2015 held at Ramna Green in Dhaka on 18 April. He clinched the title by defeating Patrick Kull, First Secretary of the Swiss Embassy, in straight sets of 6-1, 6-3, said a press statement issued by the Nepal Embassy in Dhaka on Sunday.

Col. KC also bagged the Runner’s Up Men’s Doubles title of the Tournament in partnership with Col. Sergey V. Naydenov, Deputy Military, Air and Naval Attaché at the Russian Embassy.

Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Foreign Minister of the Government of Bangladesh, awarded the trophies to Col. KC at a function in Dhaka this evening. Hari Kumar Shrestha, Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, was present on the occasion.
