The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an indicative list of priority items required in connection with the relief operations being undertaken in the country in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.
According to a statement released by the MoFA the list issued on Saturday may be revised based on the evolving circumstances in the areas affected by the devastation.” It is expected to serve as a useful reference for any friendly countries and organizations willing to donate relief materials in support of the ongoing relief operations,” the MoFA said.
The list is being transmitted to all Diplomatic Missions, United Nations and its Specialized Agencies and other International Organizations based in Kathmandu for ready reference, the ministry said.
“The list has also been forwarded to all Nepalese Diplomatic Missions abroad for information as well as coordination with the host governments as well as non-government organizations,” the statement added.
