RSS (KATHMANDU, 9 August 2020) -The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today commented that Gautam Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal, reacting to the recent statements of the External Affairs Minister of India on Buddha.

“It is a well-established and undeniable fact proven by historical and archaeological evidences that Gautam Buddha was born in Lumbini, the Birthplace of Buddha and the fountain of Buddhism, is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites,” according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
