KATHMANDU, Jan. 6 (Nepal Foreign Affairs)–The government has condemned recent attacks on the diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Iran.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said “Nepal believes that all disputes between and among the states should be resolved through peaceful means in line with the Charter of the United Nations and the Principles of International Law.”
Tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran have escalated following Riyadh’s execution of prominent Shiite cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, which evoked sharp criticism and fury from Shiite community across the world.
