Nepal condemns terrorist attack in Afghanistan

Nepal Foreign Affairs (Kathmandu, August 9) : Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has expressed sorrow and grief on the loss of innocent lives in a series of bomb attacks  in Kabul Province of Afghanistan.

In a message to President Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani Koirala said “Nepal   strongly condemns terrorism in all its form and   manifestations. Terrorism is a big enemy to peace, stability, democracy, and development.”

The prime minister stated that terrorism cannot be justified on any ground. “This is to be fought with firm resolve and determination,” he said.

According to press statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Koirala conveyed the deepest condolences and sympathies of the people and Government of Nepal to the President of Afghanistan and through him to the members of bereaved families. He also wished for an early recovery of the injured.
