NFA (KATHMANDU, 11 May 2021) – Nepal has received 400 oxygen cylinders donated by its northern neighbour China to help it fight the Covid-19 crisis, on Tuesday.
A Nepal Airlines aircraft that had left Kathmandu for Beijing on Monday returned with the cylinders as well as 160 oxygen concentrators and 10 ventilators this afternoon, informs the national flag carrier’s General Manager Dim Prakash Paudel.
China is donating 20,000 oxygen cylinders to Nepal. Of them, the first lot has arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday. Earlier, China has provided Covid vaccines in aid to Nepal.
