Nepal’s Covid-19 Update : 2,297 new COVID-19 cases, 3,130 recovered, 46 succumbed



Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 21 June 2021) – Corona virus has been confirmed on 2,297 more individuals in the last 24 hours.

With this, total number of corona virus cases has reached 622,640 so far. A total of 1,584 people tested positive to corona virus through PCR method and 713 through Antigen method. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3130 people have recovered from COVID-19. With this, the number of people who have recovered from the virus has reached 559,928 so far. Similarly, 46 people succumbed to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The total number of COVID-19 death toll has reached 8,772 so far. A total of 10,904 tests including 6,583 PCR and 4,321 antigen tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 379 corona virus cases in the past 24 hours. There are now 53,940 active COVID-19 cases across the nation.
