Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 26 October 2017) – Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has congratulated to President of the People’s Republic of China and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Xi Jinping for his re-election as the party General Secretary and President of China.
While sending congratulatory message to President Xi on Wednesday, Chairman Oli said the re-election of Xi for leading the party and the government for second term has proved his able and charismatic leadership for the development of China and prosperity of Chinese people.
The re-election of President Xi for the CPC General Secretary and President of PRC has also internalized the trust of the Chinese people and the development model he has pioneered.
Former Prime Minishter Oli expressed his confidence that China will be a great modern socialist country and will be global leader by 2050 as stated in the CPC’s 19 Congress resolution for which President Xi has already made a foundation.
”Nepal and China relations will be further enhanced and strengthened during the tenure of Xi and the bilateral relations will reach in a newer heights fulfilling aspirations of both the people of Nepal and China” Oli said.
He said Nepal has got the tremendous opportunities by China’s development and progress and would be always eager to learn from them.
Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has also sent congratulatory messages to President of the People’s Republic of China and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PM Deuba said the re-election of Mr Xi is an indication of the great confidence that the Chinese people and the Communist Party of China have placed in his dynamic leadership.
Noting unprecedented strides made by China in socio-economic and technological development and in improving the quality of life of the Chinese people, PM Deuba has applauded Mr Xi’s vision of ‘global community of common destiny for all humankind’ and greater cooperation among nations for economic prosperity.
Moreover, the PM also expressed his confidence that Nepal-China bilateral relations would continue to grow in multiple dimensions and reach a new level in the days to come.
