PM Modi condemns the killing of Indian in police firing in Nepal



Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, Nov 2) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday  expressed shock & condemned the unfortunate killing of a youngster from Bihar due to police firing in Nepal. While holding telephonic conversation with Nepali counterpart KP Sharma Oli on  Monday evening, Indian Prime Minister Modi has expressed concern on the incidents and requested for details.

According to PM source,  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Indian Premier Narendra Modi had held telephone conversation for about 25 minutes.  The conversation was centred around the latest unrest at border area and the difficulties in its aftermath.

Immediately after the conversation, PM Modi has tweeted the matter. According to Indian PMO, Indian Prime Minister at the same time urged Nepalese leaders to work towards ensuring an early & effective solution to the crisis.

On supply of fuel & other essentials, PM assured that there is no obstacle from the Indian side.
