Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 30 March 2018) – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will visit India from 6-8 April 2018 at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both the government annonuced the visit officially on Friday.
In the press releas issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), it is said Prime Minister Oli will call on President and Vice President of India and will hold talks with Prime Minister of India.
During the visit, External Affairs Minister Shushma Swaraj and other Ministers will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal. ”India and Nepal enjoy age-old, special ties of friendship and cooperation” the release furhter said,” The upcoming visit will provide an opportunity to the two sides to review wide-ranging cooperative partnership, and to progress it further for the benefit of the two peoples”.
Besides official engagements in New Delhi, the Prime Minister of Nepal will be visiting G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
There seems no much difference in the press release issued by both the ministries. The MoFA’s statement has said the entourage will comprise Ministers, Members of Parliament, Secretaries and other high-ranking officials of Nepal government.
”Prime Minister will hold official talks with Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and exchange views on matters of mutual interests. Some senior Cabinet members of the Government of India will call on Prime Minister” said the release.
