KATHMANDU – The death toll from the Bhotekoshi floods has risen to 752, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
As of 1 p.m. Sunday, 13 bodies had been recovered in Rasuwa, 52 in Nuwakot, 50 in Dhading, 58 in Gorkha, 184 in Nawalparasi East, 100 in Nawalparasi West, 36 in Tanahun and 259 in Chitwan.
The authority said 8,730 people have been rescued so far, while 2,502 people remain missing.
