Ruling parties of Nepal, China exchanging ideas, PM Oli inaugurating friendship workshop tomorrow



Nepal Foreign Affairs (KATHMANDU, 22 September 2019) – Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming visit to Nepal is the most discussed issue now. And, it is turning into reality.

President Xi is all set to visit Nepal in the second week of October, sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told. But before welcoming him to Kathmandu, Nepal has to host some other Chinese senior officials, who will be visiting frequently Nepal till the President lands here.

The Director of the International Liaison Department  of the CPC, Song Tao is arriving Kathmandu tomorrow to exchange his ideas with the senior leaders of ruling Nepal Communist Party on communist ideology and Xi’s governance. Both the ruling parties will speak bilateral friendship and fraternal relations of their parties but they will also warm up the environment for the visit of President Xi. Two other Chinese delegations have already visited Kathmandu and observed the security and other situations in connection with the preparation of Xi visit.

The Director of the International Liaison Department  of the CPC, Song Tao, will speak at the Nepal-China Friendship Symposium being held in the capital on Monday and Tuesday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the function o Monday evening.  

Both the leaders of the parties will discuss on the issue related to social transformation, communist disciplining, development and prosperity.
